Direct Links

Would there be a way for the org server's to average all the downloads you get on direct, and make a average for the download speed? I think this would help cause alot of the times i download stuff off direct, i get like 10 kbps on a cable modem, when i normally download at 500 kbps. I think it may also help the person hosting the video, as well as the person downloading them. Just a little crappy idea.

I'm not sure how this would help. Just because you have a cable modem doesn't mean the person hosting the file will have an upstream connection with equivelent bandwaidth. Also speed can't be determined unless the video host as well as the members here at this site provide connection info to the org.
