Texhnolyse (and other Yoshitoshi Abe designs)

Post by badmartialarts » Mon Dec 22, 2003 2:32 am

I have a fondness for Yoshitoshi Abe's character designs, which always seem to be attached to weird lil' series. Heck, who liked NieA_7?

(crickets chirp)

Well, I did. How 'bout Haibane Renmei?

(a few muffled grunts)

Haven't seen it myself, yet, but I'll probably like it. How about a show called...hmmm...what was it...Serial Experiments Lain?

(confused cheers)

Ahh, that's good. Now, what about Texhnolyse?

(crickets...again...)

It's a new show, I know. Anyone seen the whole series yet? If so...did it make at least quasi-sense (can't ask for much more than that)? I've only seen up to Rogue: 15, and so far it's trying to make sense.
Life's short.
eBayhard.

I watched episode 1 a long time ago, but it was subbed by animejunkies and the video quality was so bad it hurt my eyes to look at it, so I didn't bother any farther :\
Also the first episode had like 2 lines of dialogue in the entire thing... so its pretty damn boring.
