I wanna make a video, but i only have Windows Movie Maker...

Post by HopeGoddess_4ever » Tue Oct 14, 2003 10:38 am

I've been trying to make a video with Movie Maker, but my main problem is I can't get rid of the sound attached to the original movie clip. Can someone help me?

I feel your pain...

Uhm...theres a setting somewhere that has a slider on it. On one end will be the video audio, and the other end is the Audoi file track.

I don't use WMM anyway, so I don't know where that slider is, but I know it exists...

It's in the 'tools', 'audio' option in the main bar. You can also click the little icon that looks like a microphone on the left of the timeline - just slide it away from 'video' and you'll only get the audio track.

But if you're working with wmm you'll get better quality if you use VirtualDub to do this - and save the video in huffyuv. [Assuming the video is in avi format to begin with.]
