Smartripper = one-touch restart
So I forced myself to wakeup this morning at the crack of noon, just so I could rip my last Hellsing DVD and finish my latest video. But to my surprise some how throughout the course of the night Smartripper has become a one-touch restart button. WTF? Now WinDVD platinum works just fine, but ATI DVDplayer does the same thing, instant restart. As does my NTI CD burning program, Nero (6) on the other hand seems unphased.
This is the damnedest problem. Could it be lack of ASPI?

And my HHD isn't even %33 Fragmented so it had better not be that
As for viruses, unless they can spontaneously generate from commonly used files I doubt that's it. No online service.

Hmm, I sometimes get random MacroVision faults (no idea why, either, theres no consistency to them) and it causes my entire system to lock up. Maybe you have too many DVD ripping/playing programs/drivers installed and they're fighting it out every time you try to access something via SmartRipper. Other than that, I have no idea.Mr Pilkington wrote:Nah reload didn't fixmadmag9999 wrote:this may not help much and it is sorta noobish but have u tried uninstalling smartripper and reinstalling it. or maybe defrag your hd or run clean sweep. also scan for virises. thats all i can think of sorry
