Adobe being a pain....Assistance, plz

Post by Cypherman » Thu Oct 09, 2003 10:31 pm

I'm not sure if you guys will know what I'm talking about from this description, but here goes:

Basically, I toyed with a lot of stuff, trying to get Adobe to let me playback the audio track along with the video (you know how adobe will pick the one file you need and decide it doesnt want to use the audio track from that one?...). I failed miserably, so I decided to go back to editing, but now for some reason I cant take clips from a few of my episodes...They play fine from the Project window, but when I make an in and an out, and export em to the timeline, they show up as black....No sound, no video. I cant finish my vid without these eps and I've tried both going through practically all of the options tryinf to find something awry and re-uploading (theyre stored on my hard drive) the episodes, but it made no difference. So, can anyone help me? Is there a *restore defaults* option somewhere? Should I reinstall Adobe (after rescuing my project and preview files)?

Also I noticed that the audio and video no longer had to be unlinked...Would somehow restoring this fix things?...
