Since there's a lot of flame wars scattered throughout this forum about 56k people being losers and such, I thought this will give people a chance to talk about it here.

I, for one heve DSL provided by RIT. What do you have?

i have dsl by mci. i just got it like 2 days ago but when i had 56k i suferd so much becouse of all the pics posted here and stuff. at school our district has a T1 so when im on and not many other ppl are then the speed is so amazing

I got cable provided by Cogeco.

Personally, I wouldn't say 56k-ers are losers. They're just poor suckers that deserve my condolences, as I was one of them just a couple of years ago.

I'm on 56k. I lost my cable connection when I moved and I just haven't gotten around to getting DSL.

Charter Pipe-Line, Northern Woods of Minnesota; I've hadit for the last 3 years
its not so bad ^^ 400k/sec downloads but its the upload speeds that kill me ~_~
13.4k ( hehe - but I can suffer with that at $24.00 per month )
