evangelion question

Ok I want to get the box set of eva, but I heard that the set is not as good, the dvd's jiggle, etc.

So I was wondering, have they or will they release a good version of the Eva DVD's or am I mistaken in thinking that the old Eva DVD's are bad quality?

The Renewal of Evangelion DVDs, which are only region2 for now until ADV starts to release them, are the best DVDs you can get for Evangelion. They are totally progressive, unlike the orignal Evangelion DVDs (R1 and R2) which had a bad telecine, with a new 5.1 mix of the Japanese audio.

So yes, for the first question and no for the second question.

Basically you can call them 'bad' because there is a better ( but a lot more expensive :*() version out. I bought them anyway

danm you ... i hdard about the renewal set like a week ater i bought my box set ... get teh renewal if youdon't mind spending $600 and not having an english dub .. i think there's an english sub in there... i think.

I was relatively stupid, and just bought each of the old DVD's one at a time. I just finished the series not four days ago.
