Physiologic or phychologic? The historical role of males.
*** And now, a message from the author ***
*** Please read (actual content below) ***
Hello,
Recently (meaning this year), the Off Topic, and occasionally the technical forums, have been bombarded with posts from me.
Some of them may have had meaning. Some of they mave have been relevant. Many of them had pertinent information hidden within a load of buzzwords, lame tech jokes and babble; however, many of them were simply spam.
I do not know the reason for placing so many boring posts on the forum, but I do understand that I have alienated (or at least irritated) many of the members of The Org. Perhaps it was a prolonged attention getting spree, or an attempt to seek/build/gain personal identity. Regardless, there is no excuse to contributing to the detriment of the Forums.
I apologize for any and all of the posts you have found to be meaningless and retract/rescind any offensive statements or insults.
To clarify for the record; in reality, I am not some looney mentally-ill adolescent spamming the forums because it is "cool" or some other reason. Although it may seem like that, there is much more to me than that. Simply put, I post the buzzword-filled, half-baked questions and ideas because that is the field where I am most skilled at expert-impersonating. Often, attempts to pass myself off as intelligent end up in losing the respect of others. In real life, people know me for who I am. Online, I cram up (Google) on whatever field the other person is discussing and try to look smart.
Why, do you ask? The truth is, I am only on my second AMV. The first one was scrapped, not including countless others I do not even consider valid attempts (N00b Alert: My first non-attempt included downloaded source). I have the strangest prediction that my next video will result in flames that I ruined a perfectly good video idea. Uh oh.
I hope to eventually be a excellent AMV author well known in the field, and I understand that will take lots of time and effort.
So I don't waste another forum post with this message, I present the content as advertised below.

Physiologic or phychologic? The historical role of males.
What defines the male role, anyways?
Physiologically, scientists have linked it to a variety of signaling chemicals that regulate certain physical and mental attributes. A simple gene, a chromose, that flags a plethora of proteins for compilation. Even now, scientists still don't completely understand the causes, effects and implications of that tiny gene.
In society, males historically were (and still are), linked to leadership roles and more aggressively directive functions that involve initiative. Although mouch of the historical male role was dissipated into tradition and stereotype, a quick look at the statistics indicatted that males are still the dominant factor.
I, among many others, believe that these two properties can be, logically, connected.
Most of this can theoretically be attributed to the preset programming built into our minds. The buzzwords on top may not be meaningful immediately, but here's a concept that is: females (no insult intended) evolved to be, quite literally, the mother. As the family figure, the mother takes the role of responsibility for the offsrping. Naturally, resources are needed, whether food in primitive times or dosh in the modern world. Who brings home the banknotes? Males compose slightly more than half the population, but still have 68% (on average, possibly more) of the professional jobs.
But lets look at the not so objective side of the argument. Which slipt of the populus is resposible for the majority of the violent, aggravated, or sexual crimes? Hey, it's the males. But they compose less than that respective percentage of the populus, don't they? Strange indeed. Additionally, consider the very nature of the historical and traditional male role.
The question (and the thesis) is:
Is this a product of physiologic factors (chemicals in the brain), phychological/sociologic (how we are raised), or a certain factor of both? And how?
Personally, if any of the aggressive male trait can be linked to physiologic factors, including genes, I would definitely want to be genderless.
The fact that it's "my" split of the populus that watches porn, incest and rape media is not something positive. Maybe it's strictly the sociologic development. Maybe it's not.
Possible research idea:
Examine and research the male and female populus from several different cultures and conditionsm in order to build background data. Conduct a clinical research investigation examining existing case data to ascertain whether adolescents male, wihtout male characteristics (no testosterone, or other chemicals), or genderless subjects are more likely, inclined or even predisposed to developing certain personality traits.

I'm stuck explaining myself to Jace Tsunami when I know full well that I don't have to and that its his misconception that is the problem, not my apparent "sickness". Heres the link (I'm probably putting myself into a hell of my own creation here... there I go again!! Whats my fucking problem, I KNOW IM RIGHT HERE!!)

Male attributes, as well as female attributes, are indeed influenced physiologically. But I also believe a considerable amount is phychological and emotional. Both male and female are forced to believe that they act or behave a certain way different than the other. I don't think either males of females "have it easier" than the other. It is hard to live up to the archetype of your gender.
