Suddenly Defunct AVS Script

Post by Second Element » Tue Sep 02, 2003 1:34 am

Unfortunately, my computer got that nasty virus that was going around and had to be completely reformated. I managed to back up my entire AMV making folders and programs and etc and put them back on the newly reformated comp. All of a sudden an AVS script I have been using fine in Premiere is no longer.

The only thing that has changed is that I divided my computer into 2 seperate drives, and moved all the AMV folders from their original home on the C drive to the D drive. I made sure to change the filepath information to reflect this change but I am still getting this error when importing into Premiere:

Unrecognized Exception!
(D:\AMV\Insane\parasites.d2v, line 1)

This is the script I've been using:

MPEG2Source("D:\AMV\Insane\parasites.d2v")
FieldDeinterlace()
Telecide()
Decimate(5)
AssumeFPS(24)

I have already reinstalled all of AMVapp and other proggies necessary for video editing that I use, and this ( parasites ) is a newly ripped vob file, newly exported from DVD2AVI, and it's just not working. Any help on figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

Try re-creating the d2v file.

Just tried that- didn't make a difference. It still won't work.
