HI, ....uuummm.... Now I'm having ftp problems. I downloaded ws ftp pro and it works fine but I did encounter some problems. It gets to a point where it asks for the host, as far as I know this can only mean a web host. So I made a web page at angelfire.com, but it has a max file space of 20mb. My vid is like 50mb, this creates a problem. I think I might be able to enter my ip adress as the host but then what do I enter as the user id and password. Or is there a free web hoster that allows more than 20-30mb. does everyone that puts up amvs pay for web hosting. Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone actually knows what I've been rambling about, it would be nice if you could give a general idea of what to put in the links part of the video submission page because I fear that if someone answers the previous question I'll be back an hour later with another stupid question.

okay let me be clear on this anyway
You want to host it on the a-m-v.org site itself (because if offers 100Mb of space for amvs and charges nothing but donations).
You enter the vid from the main member page. Then fill out all the info on anime and music but you don't need to enter any direct or indirect link information because you are hosting it here. Just click finish or whatever and go back to the main member page. From here click on upload video and then choose the video you just entered.
Right you are now given an FTP address and password. Use wsftp pro and link up to the FTP address (I think in your first post you were referring to this as the host). So find your vid file on your computer and transfer it to the org server.
Now you need to confirm the upload or the video will not be shown on the website. There should be a button for this on the upload page that gave you the ftp address and the password. It will download the video so you can check it an make sure there are no bugs. Once this is done click confirm and it's all done. Yay!
I hope that clears up any problems you were having and if you did already sort it out for yourself, sorry.[/i]
