Yeah, it's not 1.0. These screenshots were taken from the VfW interface to dev-api-4, which is a development (read: unstable) branch of XviD.

XviD 1.0 will be a merge of dev-api-4 + possibly code from other branches. Tab was playing around with the Isibaar branch this morning -- appearently it has a special animation mode, which would be neat to try out :)

GIMME THIS NEW VERSION!!!!!11

No, but seriously, where could I find a binary of the dev-api-4 code? I'm not too keen on compiling things in Windows.

Well on second thought I guess it can't hurt that bad...I didn't want to risk flooding my host, but the dll + installation script is only about 230kB, which isn't too bad...

Though, if you decide to use this binary, I claim absolutely no responsibility for whatever happens to your system. This is the standard you-are-using-this-of-your-own-free-will-and-therefore-you-can't-come-after-my-ass warning.

XviD VfW interface, dev-api-4 branch (checkout date August 1, 2003, at some ungodly hour in the morning):
