Why does it always seem that conventions and conferences seem to follow each other? I mean, this year:
GSA - Denver
AAAS - Denver
ENDO - Denver
That Other Scientific Conference - Denver
Next year:
GSA - Seattle
AAAS - Seattle
ENDO - Seattle
That Other Scientific Conference - Seattle
That's right. In fact, for the past 3 years, the Geological Society of America and the American Association for the Advancement of Science have been holding their conferences in the exact same place, sometimes withing months of each other. Amazing, isn't it?
In unrelated news, I am going to be publishing another guide:
Convention Buzzwords: Make an anime convention sound like a conference!
Daniel Wang
This year's conferences are in Seattle!
