The budget sounds more encouraging... looks like they'll at least have money for some decent effects. Otherwise - still wondering the prospects of this...

The Ghost in the Shell 2 movie, titled "Innocence", has supposedly cost 18 million so far and will be out in Japan in the spring of 2004. The dubbing and subtitling for Ground Defense Force Mao-chan was done by Production IG. They handled it out of the U.S. office.
