Anime Evolution Contest - Last call

Due to being a week away at JACON, the deadline for the Anime Evolution 2003 AMV Contest has been extended to Monday, June 9 2003. We have received a fair amount of submissions but It’s a just a bit shy of the amount I was hoping for, so if anyone want to still submit to the contest they can via an FTP site since I would love to reach my expected goal of entires. There will be trophies for the top winners and the contest will be held in a state of the art 500+ seat theatre with a huge screen. The con has sold a large amount of pre-registrations already so I expect the AMV event to be completely full.

I also want to add that the contest has a seperate Parody section as well for trailers, etc...

I got that too but was still able to transfer my file (or at least it is transferring at the moment).

Yeah, it's just ASCII access which isn't allowed. Binary tranfers (like that you would do for your video) seem to work ok.

Unfortunately it means you have to upload your txt file as binary... which my ftp program wouldnt do without me calling it .txt.bin

Hi Everyone... Well, the FTP is setup so you can't read the directory or see uploads, most of the uploads I got seem to transfer fine, but a few seem to have problems (I'll be changing the whole structure around for next year)...

I do have an alternate FTP site that has worked for those with problems. I'm in the process of going though everything that has been uploaded from last night as well... It you had problems uplaoding, please e-mail me at amvcontest@animeevolution.com and I'll give you the details for the other FTP site....
