Kanji Symbol Question

Post by SS5_Majin_Bebi » Thu Jun 05, 2003 6:51 pm

I'm wanting to get the Kanji symbols for Death & Rebirth tattooed on part of my chest, and I'm having trouble finding the symbol for "Rebirth". Is there actually a single symbol for "Rebirth" or is it "Life" or something like that (Death & Life is still cool, but I'd prefer Death & Rebirth, certainly not because I'm a huge Evangelion fan  but I also love Kanji symbols)

So yeah, anybody know enough to clear that one up?

Dude! take several more years to think about it before you get a tatoo, hey, that rhymes with gadoo.

oh yeah, what seems cool right now right result in you having to get it sliced or burned off when you decide later.

Okay, so I found the one for "Rebirth", as I thought, its a double symbol, sasai, like this:

So....I'm just trying to figure out what would look better: Death & Life, or Death & Rebirth.

This is Death:

This is Life/Birth:

And Rebirth I put above. So whats the better combination? Opinions, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, I already have a red and yellow yin-yang on my right bicep; PLEASE don't give me the "you'll have it forever" lecture because I have no time for it. I know its something I'll have forever, but If i get something I wind up not liking, tough.

That better not have been sarcasm, I did think it through. I am 20, and I've been able to get tattoos since i've been 18, thats 2 years worth of "thinking it over".

I'm kind of impulsive though, I got my eyebrow pierced on a whim, and I like it.

At the end of the day, I'm still going to get them done whether people like it or not. I hate it when people go "You know you're going to have them forever?" and I'm like [sarcasm]" No, I thought I was only gonna have them till lunch time, tomorrow."[/sarcasm]

...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
