Most emotional AMVs

Post by Madzack » Thu Jun 05, 2003 4:49 am

What's the most emotional AMV that have you spilling yourself out onto?

Like me, I've watched an Ah! My Goddess AMV set to Tori Amos' Precious Things, and I found myself crying all through the night.

What about you?

ShonenDizzyCow's My Fading Voice, Your Distant Heart, though you need to have watched Hoshi no Koe to get the full impact.

Also, Kusoyaro's Sappy Self-Indulgence - emotional, but not in a cry-your-eyes-out sort of way.

Evangelion - Linkin Park - In The End (Abaddon's version)
Evangelion - Linkin Park - In The End (my version, which was destroyed and has yet to be rebuilt, but will kick royal ass when it is)
Evangelion - Sarah Brightman - Second Element
Evangelion - Madonna - Frozen
Evangelion - Plummet - Damaged (all hail Koop, master of seizures)
Evangelion - Rob D - Clubbed to Death

Now, if the list is expanded to include non-anime, then I'd have to bring up my own Aliens\Alien3 music video with My Immortal by Evanescence and the Sonic the Hedgehog music video set to The Flame by Cheap Trick.
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

I don't even watch Eva, but the "This Isn't What We Meant" video had me tearing up. In part it's because the song is highly emotional, and the "story" gets across even if you don't know much about the series.

Vlad's Memories and Trythil's Always. Both I consider masterpieces that move me to tears.

The Grave of the Fireflies video to Lullabye was quite emotional.

I second that. Not to be mean, but no other video has moved me more than this one.

I'd second ShonenDizzyCow's "My Fading Voice, Your Distant Heart"- it's quite moving, and I've not even actually seen Hoshi no Koe (quite unfortunately).

Another I'd have recommend would be DannyPoo's "My Resolution".
