FLCL questions...

I want to get FLCL. How many DVDs is it? I've heard of it being 2 disks, 3 disks, and even 6 disks: one for each episode. Which is the true amount?

Also, where is a good place that has it at a good price?

it's 3 disks, 2 eps per disk.

go to dvdpricesearch.com they should have the first 2 disks available. The third one is supposed to be released in june or july ... i can't remember when.

www.animecastle.com has them too, and you can preorder disk 3 there if you want.

FLCL is 6 episodes in length at 2 episodes per disc. For those of you that flunked maths, that's 3 discs. One of which isn't out yet.

(It was 6 discs in the original Japanese. Stingy)

As for somewhere to get it from... it depends on where you are.

Well since lone wolfs FLCL question was answered pretty quickly, i guess i'll just hi-jack this thread with my own FLCL questions.

*this will contain spoilers*

1. Was Haruko really an investigator sent to check up on that medical machina factory or was she always a greedy power hungry psycho-bitch using the investagotor front as a cover up for her true intentions?

2. In episode 4 when that bomb is about to fall on Mabase, why was every one's nose in that control room bleeding? Somone said aptomospheric pressure fluxuations, but then why wasn't Naotas nose bleeding?

3. In episode 4 what did naota see when he looked in his fathers room? Haruko getting it on with noatas dad or the robot? Or was it Haruko trying to use naotas dads head to get atomsk's power? (i personaly think it's the last one).

4. umm i can't think of a 4th one right now ... so ... yea i'll ask later.

Honestly, I think the nosebleed was just for a comical reference, like the rest of the things in the show.

I say the first one because frankly, I resent the insult that the second one implies ^^.

It's an anime thing. When people get horny their noses bleed. Don't ask me why the opted to use it there, but that's my explanation and I'm sticking to it.

I'm not sure on that one. I think it's purposely ambiguous.

what me calling her a psychobitch or the greedy power hungry part? If yoru pobjecting to the psychobitch part well you need to see a shrink, Haruko is a 101% bonofied psychobitch, and thats jsut the way i like her! the greedy power hungry part ... meh, i guess that can be an insult.

well i don't know, naota did get one of those spazmatic headaches when he looked inside ... she could have been fucking around with some equipment on naota's dad's head and signals form that may have caused his head to go off ... i guess. Or it could have been the shock of seeing haruko fucking his dad or the robot... meh, i still think it was her playin with his dads head trying to get atomsk's power.

well serioulsy FLCL problaby has a plot, but i'm not entirely sure of it ... it kinda shot over me the first two or three times i watched the show. If you wanted something like a plot graph ... well it's kinda easy ... but i don't think you interested in that ... you'd best ask somone who knows a bit more.

actualy i have a pretty good question, some people feel sorry for haruko because of how she did all that work to get to atomsk, and in the end she ends up having to leave to chase him around the galaxy again. My question is do you think haruko knew how to tak atomsk's power in the first place and was jsut hoing that it would work out? Because at the end of ep 6 she's jsut standing ther look ing at her bracelet and sees atomsk flying around like a fire fly ODing on caffine and then she jsut watches him leave. Do you really think she knew how to harnes his power?

I think she knew how to harness his power, but probably not in his true form like that. When he was in big red bird mode he was probably way too strong for her to mess with.
