Ok, I was bored one day and I tried to synch Tenchi Universe with "Over My Head" by Lit (care of the "Titan A.E." soundtrack). I noticed that the beginning of the song and of the anime was close in timing. Unfortunately, the ending of the song is slightly longer than the ending of title sequence. Now, maybe its an overdone concept but this kinda fits him.
I could be wrong, however.

Yet another retraction
I must have had a shorter version of the song or just had the sync wrong. In other words, the idea is sound but execution was flawed. Oh well, back the drawing board.
