Who here has made the most AMV's?

Post by CaTaClYsM » Thu Apr 10, 2003 12:11 am

just wondering.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

If I rememebr correctly, there's some guy who is listed int he database who used to make AMVs for people at cons on the spot.. youd just have to give him a song and some source footag,e and he'd make an AMV for you on a pair of VCR's in under an hour.. something like that... He's made hundreds.. I don't even know if they're all listed. I imagine most of them were not that great in quality, but he made them.. and you have to admire the speed in which he did them.. especially using the 2 VCR method.

Now if only I could remember who he was.

I don't know who Mr. (or Ms.) AMV-on-Demand was, but Kai Stromler is definitely way up there.

look up Gerry Hsu

i think over 200 music videos... which in his words "account for a little over 300 hours of editing time"

he was the whipping boy of the amv mailing list a long while before it went to crap
