well... Yeah it doesn't feel too good i guess, i would aim at contests instead , at least someone will watch it if you want it to be watched... probably 
Being social is quite important too aka making some friends to check out your stuff for you xD.
Another thingy is to priorritize your enjoyment during editng instead
