Anime Festival Orlando (AFO) 16 AMV Contest - Deadline Aug 1

I am pleased to again be hosting the AMV contest this year for AFO, so please bring me your entries!

The contest is open to worldwide entries, but preference when cutting for time and main awards will be given to physical attendees.
The local competition is fierce, as many of our local editors have gone on to win at national conventions, but we encourage any and all editors to send your work and make yourself known. We have some Judges Discretionary awards to give and a Fan Favorite vote at the show, so anyone can win bragging rights!

Bumping - 2 weeks remain until the deadline.
Quick clarification, some people seem to misunderstand the award rules each year so let me be clear:
All submissions will be accepted regardless if you attend the convention, but you must attend the convention to win a major award (best in show, best of category, etc) - this is to allow our local editors to get recognized for their work.
HOWEVER - THE PIECE THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE MISSING:
ALL submissions that don't get cut for time WILL get a chance to win the Fan Favorite Award which is a mobile-web-based live vote at the contest showing, or Judge's discretionary award. So just because you don't attend doesn't mean you won't win anything!!! And if nothing else, you'll get your work known to our large local Anime AMV Fan Community. Hope this clears things up, and as always feel free to contact me if there are any questions whatsoever.

I'm hosting an AMV Discussion Group in panel room 2 on Saturday 8/15 at 4:30 PM, and the Contest Showing is Sunday 8/16 at 2 PM in the Main Events Ballroom.
As usual, I'll be sending emails direct to contestants with more details as they become available.
