In the popular game Wixoss, there are special cards called LRIGs that few players know about — cards that possess personalities and wills of their own. Ruuko is a teenage girl who just found one of these rare cards. Now, she can use her LRIG to battle in a strange, dark plane of existence. If she wins, her wishes will be granted — but what happens if she loses?

This is the Puella Magi Madoka Magica of this year. Looks like it's going to be a typical card game series and turns into something a bit darker.

I thought something was odd with the fact that they never actually explained how the card game works and the card battles never had much depth, mostly just emphasizing whatever the current drama between characters, until I realized that the series isn't about the card battles itself but the characters. Interesting series
