i remember now.. the Hollywood Videos in my neighborhood carries Metropolis on dvd... u think i should go rent it?

i don't have much interest in it though.

There's been a lot of discussion on this movie. It sucks, it rules, etc, etc, blah blah blah. Just throwing a little proffesional opinion into the mix. I've learned to trust this site since they work on a percentage scale instead of the more common stars. It gives a better idea of what you're looking at.

I don't trust reviewers...

Even if 99% said a movie sucked and I liked it, I will continue to like it even so.

I know a lot of people hated the movie "In the Mouth of Madness" and not one of the reviewers I read (10 out of 10) even came close to understanding that the movie was a loving tribute to the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Three were so ignorant as to believe that the movie was kissing the ass of Steven King! GRRRRRRRRRRR

Now... I do agree that it is a good idea to have a website like this one with many reviews so that you can see the various opinions and I am indeed a supporter of the web site despite what I said above.

I also am a fan of the movie Metropolis for those who are interested.
