Bemani Anyone?

I'm sure everyone on these boards is familiar with DDR, and maybe plays it and likes it alot. I for one have been playing DDR for over 2 years and I'm still quite addicted to it.

But my question is, what about other Bemani games? If you dont know, Bemani is the name of the genre of games made by Konami based around music/rhythm. The games include Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania, Beatmania IIDX, Para Para Paradise, DanceManiaX, Guitar Freaks, DrumMania, KeyboardMania, Pop N Music, and Mambo A Go Go. All of the games share the same basic, pick a song, and watching the arrows/bars on the screen, and doing "something" when those arrows/bars hit a certain area on the screen. That "something" varies from stepping on panels, hitting a drum pad with a drum stick, or hitting a key on a keyboard.

Personally, my 2 favorites Bemani games are IIDX (pronounced 2-D-X) and KeyboardMania. They're just so incredibley fun. Followed by DDR, Guitar Freaks, Para Para, and DanceManiaX. I havent played enough of the rest of them to really like them alot.

So anyways. Am I all alone in my love for Bemani? ;_;

I'm a DDR player...but i'll have to look into that Benemi or whatever stuff hehe...the "other" games, sounds cool. I have a hard pad and everything at home 8)
