Kthulhu's cool music (February 16th 2003)...

Damn straight, it's that time again. Kthulhu lists three songs he found interesting, and no one gives much of a rat's ass. Hold on tight, anyhow, 'cuz here we go:

1. "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush. A very rocking 80s pop song. Almost punkish, really, except with more drama. High recommendation.

2. "Double Fucked By 2 Black Studs" by King Missile. Despite the song title, it's not really that vulgar. The song has something of a New Orleans funeral dirge sound, with, I guess you could say, spoek word vocals relating a simple experience in a bar. Rather short, but amusing nonetheless. Low recommendation.

3. "Koi No Tenshi Maiorite" from Love Hina. This X-mas special opener song is pretty damn sweet if you like poppy Jpop (and I do). Cute vocals, sure, but the instrumentals and beat are tight - danceable even. High recommendation.

Who is in King Missle these days? I haven't listened to them since Dogbowl left. What label are they on?

Assuming your song choice is a new release, that is.
