So, well I suppose patience will be a really useful skill, right? X3
most 3 minute amvs take around at least 2 months, some people spend over 5 years on a single amv, and it doesn't turn out too good. I suggest you just do your best, have fun, and make something you really like watching, if you are editing for a cause, or as a request, you generally make a shitty amv. Make an amv because you enjoy doing it, and if you get bored, start over or try something different. AMVs aren't about being leet or perfecting rotoscoping, they are about making something for fun, so don't stress on every little thing. AMVs are not serious and mistakes will not end your career. Some people willl get anal about it, but I've been editing for around 4 years and a majority of it has been with anime, the only things I've learned are how to encode and rip dvds. I pretty much suck at amvs, but I keep trying, and people notice I improve, but throughout all of it, I partially made over 200 amvs, but things just get boring or stale, and that's why my amvs suck. I have ADHD, I can't focus on every little detail of one single song, and thus people criticize me. I have never put effort into something I didn't enjoy, but looking back, most of my AMVs are terrible, but there are some that I really like, And that's all that matters.
