Since I've upped four caps already of which the last one was dead giveaway to those, who know the prequel series, which ran overall from 1987 to 1996 consisting of 4 seasons, 3 TV Special an OVA and 3 Movies, I'll perhaps stick to hinting now

Yeah, it's fairly old. The most recent thing on that shelf is from 1995 or so. So Genshiken's not right.
