9 and 13?
(9 to erase 13 to bring back, since this is a hard q could you tell me if one of those is right in order to help out the next guy)
Way off...not even close but nice try.
OK. Thanks for the clarification. I'm trying to remember (and being lazy by not opening up another window and looking), but I think this is actually the first Ranma question we've had. Which still seems odd to me, since I remember when just about everything involving anime seemed to be (to most people) about Ranma.

He he gotta love ranma :D

OK, it's a stab in the dark (from work, where I have neither the manga or anime), but was it 119 to erase her memory, and 114 to get it back? I seem to remember that Takahashi used the Japanese equivalents of our 3-digit numbers for 'emergency' and 'information', and I think those were them...

Wasn't it "110" to erase Akane's memory (AND give her that refreshed feeling), and "119" to try to get it back?

The next question comes from the TV series Princess Nine.

On the morning of the crucial regional semi-finals game between Kisaragi High (favored to go to Koshien and the National HS Baseball championships) and Kisaragi Girls High (the first all-female time in the male-dominated sport, in their first year), ace batter Kotaru Hotta gets a phone call from her home in far-away Tosa. She receives the news that her father is ill. Not surprisingly, this disturbs Kotaru, and for the first eight innings, is unable to get a hit.

Because of the national interest in this game (regional semi-finals, first girl baseball team, brother-and-sister schools against each other), the radio broadcasts reach even Tosa -- and Kotaru's father, still in bed. Right at the beginning of ninth inning (just minutes before Kotaru has to go again), the father sends a fax to his daughter -- a message containing only ONE WORD.

The question (as if you didn't know from THAT buildup):

What was that one word?

Given P9 is one of my favorite series (I have a soft spot for Shoujo Sports Anime, what can I say....), this question is rather easy. That kanji was

Image

Kaze- Wind.

Both Kotaru's batting style and the fishing style which she and her father practiced relied upon 'reading the wind', and by the way it was hand-written, Kotaru knew it was from her father and that it meant he had to be OK.

And THAT is a Grand Slam. The Thread goes to Ashyukun!

Right. Let's see if I can't come up with one that doesn't cause quite as much trouble. Don't know exactly why it popped into my head, but it'll do. In Super Dimensional Fortress Macross (and its domestic incarnation, the first Robotech Saga), two seafaring vessels were caught up in the Macross's (SDF-1's) fold to escape the attacking fleet, and were subsequently incorporated into the massive ship itself. What were the names of these two vessels? (and for bonus points, what kinds of vessels were they)

I've never watch that much of Macross/Robotech...
But did some research and will take a guess...
