As it stands we have only 2 backups, and I'm having a slow enough time even getting enough normal participants. I rather not chance it if it can be avoided.

MCHY doesn't exactly fit those, and Mkid would only possibly fuck up on technical aspects, which all in all would mean he might just get a little of a score deduction. I can understand the ones with little enthusiasm..but come on now . If they enter and then don't pull through then yah, backups.

You'd probably get more normal participants if you let in everyone who wants to join.

I'm putting a lot of time and effort into this tournament, I'm not planning on giving any spots to people whom I simply don't trust enough to actually do things right, or who just plain don't show enough enthusiasm to edit. [I.E, vax not reading the rules at first and his general lackluster "eh....ill do it"]

and for what reason was i blacklisted?

If you're going to blacklist people, take me off the list...I don't want to participate in an already prejudiced tournament. Doesn't say much for how the rest of the tourney will go.

Yeah, drop me, not editing for this shit. The fact that you'd even stoop to some petty bullshit like this before the tournament even starts is a good indication that this is just going to get run into the ground.

I think it's kind of lame that you didn't state that you would bar people from the tournament at your discretion. Even worse, you didn't even tell them you weren't letting them in. Ignoring people who do what you ask is pretty rude, if you ask me. They did read the rules and say Pass the sugar, after all.

I gotta say I agree with Matt. I mean I love ya and everything Joey, but you have to learn to not be so pretentious some times. You really had no reason no exclude some of the people you did, and I personally can't believe you did. Now, I don't necessarily believe that you'd be biased when judging these people, but this is bullshit.

It's a fucking tournament, you should let EVERYBODY in, unless of course you have a reason to think they absolutely won't fucking submit anything. Vax will, MCHY will, Mkid will. The only good person you have blacklisted is fuckin' Begi, and that's because you have absolutely no reason to believe he'll actually seriously compete. The only reason you turned away MCHY and Mkid is because you don't fuckin' like them and that's just bullshit, and if you can't even let everybody into the actual tournament without biased, then what makes me think you WON'T judge with bias towards anybody just because you don't like 'em? It's bullshit, and if It fuckin' continues I'll just end up dropping as well.

and how did you come to that conclusion? i've competed "seriously" in every IC tournament i've joined and i love doing ICs. if you're only saying that because you and i have had our "differences" in the past, then thats just lame mane. shiii, you don't even have any evidence that suggests i wont edit "seriously" for this tournament so wtf?
stop making decisions that aren't up to you. last time i checked, Arashinome was hosting this tourney.
