Taite: Hell yeah,I'm loving this beta so far! It fits the vision I had for this song really well but I would suggest you try to change the scenes at 0:23-0:25 to something with better impact. Just to emphasize the "giving it all up" part of the song more.

Those were my thoughts exactly. I have so many scenes where they're being very close to each other, but I'm also trying to emphasize the struggles that came along with their relationship, so I need more scenes geared towards that, and that's the part I was looking at.Thank you (:

I really like your beta really nice lip syncing.
0:03 - maybe you could follow the beats more? I know you synced it to the "lyrics" but I don't know maybe you could do something with it
0:10 - you're a bit late with the beat syncing I think
at 0:13 maybe you could use something else instead of the stripy transition?
0:18 - I think that blur is not nice, it's too short and too strong, maybe a simply fade would be enough?
0:21 - maybe you could put something in the background? cuz the lip syncing is really long and not much happens.
0:31 - is it lip sync? (the black haired guy) if not then lip flap? xD

but anyway, it was really nice (except the quality but I guess you know that already xD)

your track is really awesome so far the only thing I could mention is that maybe at 0:12 the hardcut is a bit rough? and that at about 0:05 you didn't hit a beat xD but really, your part is awesome

I was looking at :12 too, you're right. I've been messing with that part for awhile, and I might switch the order of the clips up a bit. But I agree, something is off about that part, so I'll be looking at it

And the reason :5 doesn't hit a beat is because the flow of the clips was geared more towards lyrical sync. The movement of the clips are supposed to match the rising tones in her voice, leading up to where she sings "to". I'm sorry, I'm not really god at explaining, since I edit by the motion of clips and how they match the pitch of the song, which a lot of people don't understand. XD

But the crossfade between those two clips as well as the motion of them getting closer in their kiss was to match the "to" that was being sung.
I tried cutting it right at the drum beat, but it didn't look or feel right at all, since the scene of the stairwell ended up being too short, especially with the fade-in on it. And the other clip was too long for its motion to match the "to."
But thanks, I'll keep it in mind, since it does seem a bit odd that all the previous clips were on drum beats. It honestly looks fine to me, but I guess it's a kind of inside-joke, since I edit mainly for myself hahaha

Ok, due to having more assignments and class tests thrown into my face by my lovely lecturers, I'll be shuffling the first beta deadline to this Sunday. I don't want to do this but I really don't have time to sit down and cut my footage for the moment, at least not until I get all my schoolwork done. I also know there's a few of you who seem to be having your own personal issues so this'll give you some additional time to work on it.
