bte you can use 'an' preceding a word that starts with a vowel. An sickly ostrich would be grammatically correct (not sure if I spelled it right...), it all depends on the subject, because ostrich begins with 'o', the modifier would be 'an'. 'Sickly' is simply the adjective... call it the participial... I'm not sure if that's the correct term, but it does the same thing.

I spent a loooooong time conjugating sentences as a kid.

Depends how you say it <.< looks around. Certain ppl pronounce the word mep, like the word AVI or JPEG, then I'd say a mep. Some do the Em EE Pee thing and I'd say 'an' lol.

lol thats like asking:

I would say "a MEP" and "an AMV" but I still keep finding people that says it the other way around for both of them lol

I always say "an amv" and "an mep" :P

I say a Multi editor project though, but MEP is spelled like em-ee-pee so I think it sounds better with "an" xD

I would say "a MEP", "an AMV", "a Bauzi", "an omegaevo....[whatever....hard to write with soo much beer in my stomache]....why are you never on at msn?????????????????????????????????????????????????????", " a kevmaster", "a scott".............
my teacher said it depends on how you pronounce the word after the "a" or the "an "........
