Scene selection can be difficult for such a simple video.

Joe has moved on from directing AMVs...MaboroshiStudio wrote:I won't have an entry of my own this year for pro, but it was fun helping the wife on her first video. She just didn't let me edit with her lol... once she was done she said clean it up and that if I make any editing changes she wants to approve them.

MaboroshiStudio wrote:I have for sure mellowed over the years, but I guess a 5+ year break can do that to you. I will just be happy to make the finals of a major contest now as the level of competition has really gone up.

This new mellow image can be fixed. You need only submit Freak Show Part 4.
That would be me. The older playback software quu wrote required hard letterboxing but I've written new software that doesn't have that limitation (btw, if there's anyone else out there using Netstreams and would like to beta test the software, let me know). Accordingly we've opened the contests (except SAST) to wide format content.MaboroshiStudio wrote:
in regards to submissions for AWA who is there a technical guy I can contact? I was going to encode the video using apple's compressor program and output to a 16:9 dvd file. Originally I saw that it said to do hard letterbox, but then I looked at the detailed entry form and it said you can submit 16:9... so I want to make sure the file I submit works / is kosher.
