Hey I can see the ultra fine print at the end of that post.trythil wrote:I agree. However, by Pyle's logic, that would require interaction with a GOD. I mean, you have to sacrifice forty goats and forty lambs to appease THE KOOP first, right? You can't just talk to him over AIM, for unsolicited conversation will FRY your computer. Oh, and heaven forbid you run into him at any conventions. His godly aura might just BLIND YOUR MORTAL EYES.madbunny wrote: If you really want to know how Euphoria was made, you COULD ask the person that made it, or you could search the forum as this has been covered numerous times.

hell, if that's the criteria, then I must be a god too.
I sent Koopy-poo a PM about a week ago, and he hasn't replied. I don't have AIM, and I doubt s/he uses ...*MSN* AAAH.
I don't have forty lambs, but I do have a steer. They are too tough to kill though. I whacked him over the head with a log yesterday and the log BROKE! He barely even noticed, too.
I know what. I'll establish the new religion of...Koopism. It's a cult. There will be end of the world plots, shooting at policemen, and of course, mass suicides. In Koop's name.
I rambled a bit there...anyways I get the feeling that Koop didn't really add a thousand effects in, but he was really fuckin smart at using them. It's like Hannibal. He had pretty much no army, but he had the best damn brain in the world.
Anyone know how he acheived the 'radar' effect and the moving sepia tones?

The moving tones can be done by taking two video tracks an placeing the same clip in both, one above the other. Apply a color effect to one and then use a track matte to make a 'window' of sorts to animate the effect.
Alternatively you might be able to put the same clip in both tracks and use a colored track matte to achieve the same results without adjusting the colors on one clip manually. It may end up being just as much work though if not more.
The radar stuff can be done with virtual tracks and track mattes. To animate the track matte use motion settings and such to get the circular motion.

Also.. If you can't use virtual tracks then you will have to export your work and bring it back in order to apply multiple "radar windows".Corran Productions wrote:The radar stuff can be done with virtual tracks and track mattes.
