Originality is an effect someone does and then everyone else just copies it.

I've been wracking my brain to think of anything original, but it seems that it has always been done elsewhere...somewhere.

Origintality is the value of the adjective "unique". It says how unique something is.

When there are thousands of copies of something you still can consider the first one to be original because it was the first one that came up with the idea.

As far as I know, this was the first (and popular) amv (! ; not video in general) that came up with the piano keys effect:

heheh that´s so much true. Most of the stuff that comes up is just a sum up of all the mixed influences. There are barely new ideas without influences (not only in amvs, but in general).

Honestly did you guys just go through a meeting and made this decision to make topics about concept/originality/effects/ect. all in 1 day?
Usually threads like this show up like once every few months but now it's becoming a matter of days. :s
