Quite true. I'm 33.
But when you say it, it's true.

as far as opinions i try and get at least 3 for each of my amvs, as that is the minimum for getting the average opinion score viewable to the public. Honestly, considering that i created my amvs i am in the best position to recognize their faults. In one of my amvs i accidentally let the briefest flicker of subs appear in it and i have really regretted it and rightly so i got some criticism about it which i have no problem with.

Personally i love constructive criticism, it opens my eyes as to what people like and dont like. For my ghost rider movie trailer amv i personally liked it a lot but i got the impression that people were tired of seeing movies trailers over and over again as only a few were really original so i dont plan to continue pumping out trailers unless i get a really inspiring choice.

However, i have also gotten comments and opinions that are not much more than "you had no special effects so it sucked". Well, most of my amvs were made in windows movie maker so i didnt want to clutter my amvs with crappy special effects but i guess some people think that no special effects automatically = bad amv. And they're damn wrong as my two most successful amvs have no special effects other than a few fade ins and outs (plus they are both wmm productions).

So long as my opinions give me details and well thought out points i am happy. i will be honest, i get a warm fuzzy feeling whenever someone says one of my amvs is the greatest thing since sliced bread (beleive it or not i actually have gotten a few of those :D ) but i dont want to just get praise if there is something that can be improved upon in my amvs

The reason a newb like me likes the .ORG is that i can watch other AMVs and get ideas for my own Vids. I can post here and get some help with AviSyth problems or Premiere glitches...It just seems to be a place that i can get a flaming you suck as well as a Cool vid luved it.....The reason that i do it the most is to just once see one of my vids on the Convention screen....Constructive criticism helps me out when i might not catch myself doing the same crap!!!.....I try to leave reasons why i liked one or the other but not always....so i guess i guilty too...hehe...Also being way past the thirty mark If i run into someone in there twentys that knows there stuff i listen and dont get a Twist in my shorts!!! 8-)
If its not for fun then why do it!

Well I actually like almost all kind of comments (as long as it's no flaming or nonsense)^^
Of course constructive critisicsm is very much appreciated because of course I want to get better and I need the opinions of others for that^^
And what is also important to me is that I know what feelings my AMVs cause by the viewers.
Comments which just say that the video was awesome or great or something like that are nice too, they cheer someone up ^^
So I think they most important thing about a comment is that is is a honest one^^
