In fact, I'm doing that right now with a vid I'm currently finishing up for Pro.

- I have a bad habit of waiting till the last min to finish a video. It isn't always due to putting it off until then or lacking motivation until right before the deadline (deadlines help me apparently) but sometimes it's just due to the idea itself taking too long to work on. Though it's fairly rare that's the case, considering the ideas I prefer to work with are ones that require very little effects work.

- I've grown way to accustomed to having a set group of beta testers I trust. I'll send out beta's every major milestone in the project, which generally is a verse/chorus. I'll obsessively watch the beta myself looking for flaws and then let my beta testers have a look as well. It's really annoying however, when I want to keep the project a secret from other editors I normally beta to, since my other friends are rarely available when I need them to beta a vid... I just feel like I've going to miss something glaringly obvious simply because I'm used to how the vid is edited.

That's my beta experience in a nutshell.. so its tough for me when people just reply with "its good" or something else similar

I've only made three lip synching videos, and I only uploaded one.

I tried out for AMV Hell twice, but one of the videos wasn't funny, and the other I couldn't figure out how to downsize it so they could put it in their video.

I've never made any funny anime videos, cause my brain don't roll that way(I can be a jokester around real people, and have them laugh though, so it's kind of weird I can't make AMVS like that.)

I use WMM to cut up my clips. Hahhaa... it doesn't do that much to the quality though.

Are they clips or full episodes? or AMVS? If they are full episodes, that's okay, but not if they are clips or amvs, because that's called footage stealing.

This :ying:
Actually for a short MEP I used as source Canaan when I haven't watched the full serie at all.

Also:

- I always like to install several programs for edition but I rarely use them :shark:
- I learned how to use photoshop by "accident"
- I like to use AE but if my source is not K-on! then I don't use it
- The Visual quality of my vids is now saved by Aggressor :awesome:
- In the past I hated Virtual Dub, now I love it <3
- When an otaku ask me how many series I have watched to edit my amvs I just say 30 series in 9 years. Then the people is kinda
- I'm the last to join a MEP and always the first to bring a beta first :amv:
- In the music library I add 200 songs per month and delete 100 at the same time. I only choose less than 15 songs per month to edit something

I do this too.
Same.
And then after I'm finished I never want to watch it again. ~_~
 Really? After I'm done my AMV, I'll loop it for at least a day straight!
The only reason I stop is because I think to myself I'm not going to see anything new. Stop this madness now!

I'll work on a video and then stop because I got this great idea and start working on that, then move on to the next... ect... In the end I wind up with tons of un-finished projects that I may wind up going back to and finishing in the future. Generally, the number of videos I come out with in a years worth of time all depends on which ones I can finish before my muse re-directs me to a new idea...
To hit on this more, I had 5 different ideas for videos to submit to AWA Pro this year. In the end the video I worked on this weekend and am sending I just got the idea for on Friday night and started working on it Saturday evening (grabbing clips, ect.) Grant it, I already had the source prepped thanks to a few other ideas, but in the end the one that I actually worked on was something new, not any of the others I've been planning for months/weeks.

9 times out of 10, I will rip footage, get REALLY excited about an idea, try to edit it, become disheartened and then delete everything in a fit of rage. Oh, and all of this is within a span of 2-3 hours.

More Flaws:

I think my videos are amazing and then a few months later when I'm more experienced they look like crap to me.

I don't like watching amvs with country songs, or instrumental(unless it's something that someone is showing me, and I do like it somehow)

I hate editors that are worse than me(even know i'm pretty good) saying I did something wrong, when they make that same mistake in their videos.

I hate most AMVS and try to like them, but still hate them.(so sorry but most suck)

I don't think I could do a collab because I didn't need people being judgemental on my work, especially if theirs suck.

-Still have yet to release a video in a proper aspect ratio, surprised that more people haven't ripped my head off about that. In fact, in still pretty shaky when it comes to some of the technical side of this hobby.
- It takes me too damn long to develop ideas, I wish I could work faster overall.
- Sometimes I can edit for hours on end, sometimes I can't get squat done.
- I have a terrible tendency to forget about contest deadlines and have to submit at the very last second (Or not submit at all which has happened far too many times)
- I wish I could participate more in the community, I don't know why don't.
