Thanks to Nina's help, Lelouch and Suzaku has a countermeasure to stop the FREIA, and with it they were able to infiltrate the Damocles. Lelouch went ahead towards Schenizel while Suzaku stayed behind to fight off Gino. It seemed Schenizel and the other were attempting to escape and plan to detonated the Damocles with the others inside. Of course that planned got foiled as Lelouch gained control of the Damocles and pretty pulled the same trick he used on Mao onto Schenizel. In the end he Geassed him and Dieherdt got killed in the process.
One last thing to do is to regain the master control of the weapon in which Nunnally has. Lelouch then makes his way towards her. At that final moment, Nunnally finally opens her eyes and tempts Lelouch to use his Geass onto her!

Guilford seemed blind and crippled from FLEIA... he was on the edge of the blast, so it makes sense it wouldn't be sure death I guess. Even nukes don't kill 100% on the edge of the affected areas.
Sayoko betrayed Lelouch, though with the way Lelouch said goodbye to them all, he was pretty much leaving them off as "do whatever you want"
C.C. and Kallen duke it out. The battle of Lelouch's affection XD we'll disregard the fact Kallen has turned against Lelouch

thats not true eclipse gave a header notice about Mission Apate Aletheia as meaning "deceit" so they are all pretending as apart of the plan so their lives are saved
