Two of the songs I chose don't have any edits to them so I chose them to see what the editors would come up with. They all have an interesting concept and one of them would be pretty easy to edit with. My only regret is that I'm afraid that they both might be pop songs :uhoh:

One of those songs is the ending song for one of my favorite anime shows, so it already has an awesome ending to it. However, the song sounded so interesting that I just had to have it for myself ^_^ Then, I wanted to see what this would end up being edited like if I sent it out. :3 Safe to say it won't get chosen but I always hope because I love that song for its interesting sound and style. (I'm still looking for a song that sounds like this song too. . . Still haven't found one yet)

The other two we're chosen at random. . . but I really didn't want those to be chosen. However, I was in a sullen mood when I sent those songs so if either of those two get picked, I might regret it. :uhoh: At the very least, they aren't troll songs.

I chose pretty okay songs, all of them can have a cool story if done well. Though this would be the worse song of my 5.

I chose my songs on a single basis: I hoped to edit to them someday because I have not seen a serious attempt at them, or that were really low on my priority queue to edit to, or that I plan on starting someday but am just really procrastinating on. If another group gets them, we will see 8 good honest attempts, or if I get them, it will give me incentive to edit a video I planned on editing later. Also, I picked 5 slower songs because I figured most of the songs would be really fast dancey/dubstep type shit. This would hopefully encourage editors to give a little more thought to the story they were trying to tell I am a VERY story-based editor, while I love watching a good action video, its not something I would edit often. Seeing the song selection so far, there's a good chance that's what I'm getting for my group anyway, so I have no regrets about choosing 5 slower songs.

I was just looking on my hard drive for songs that I like and I would like to edit to but I don't have any particular idea for it. I've found exactly 36 songs like that and I just picked 5, that, in my opinion, are the most universal (my taste in music is... specific and very various which means i included 2 dubstep-like songs and now I kinda regret it ^^).

I picked songs that I personally would like to edit to. And I always choose things that I feel are awesome, yet unexplored territory. Highly dynamic and "out there" fits the bill. My one concession to submitting "popular" music was including a song by Celldweller. But Celldweller doesn't have 101 million views on YT

Easy, unoriginal, editable music. The kind you could easily use lyric sync as well as beat syncing. Yes, Linkin Park is on the menu too.

Ouch... so glad I didn't get Group E's song. Not because I don't like it, but because I already have an idea for it and there is no way I could pull said idea off in just 1 week.

Well, that's not the point of what I said, tastes are tastes ^^ (just pointing that remixes exist)
Anyway, nvm, since this song isn't in my pack ^^"
