Re: This Week In AMVs - New AMV Podcast
Alright everyone. The long awaited for Show #2 is now up for your consumption. You can find it through the RSS feed, Itunes Store and Zune Marketplace once they update their listing, or by simply following the link in my sig to the website and downloading the podcast yourself. As always, the show notes contain links to pertinent information from the show.

I didn't got the RSS feed via Mail on my Mac. It wouldn't surprise me if Mail is buggy. So many RSS feeds throw errors in it.
"There was an error updating this feed"
You give us a lot of info in the downloadpage and that's nice, but please: Include one big fat download button. I seriously don't want to search for the download link.

Re: This Week In AMVs - New AMV Podcast
I knew I forgot to do something when designing the site
But for now until I get a moment to actually make said button, the link for the mp3 is the Show Number, unless you want to view the RSS which has a large download link.
Oh, yeah, the supplimental of Oto's rant can be found here: http://twiamvs.ngsilver.com/shows/twiam ... 010%5D.mp3

As far as I know the files don't get automatically downloaded, unless your RSS aggregator does that. The links to the files are put in an enclosure tag as well as a link tag, which was needed for itunes aggregation and was from all of the research I had done seems to be the standard. Multiple podcasts that I fallow do it this way and I based my feed off of theirs.

Re: This Week In AMVs - In need of co-host
Alright, I'm currently working on putting together the next show. In the lul from the last show I was able to work out the technical difficulties I have been having with getting skype to record properly. There is still a question of possible crashing, however with the newest version and updates I have installed I'm confident that I wont have this problem anymore.
So, as has been suggested on a few occasions I am in need of a co-host. In the spirit of keeping this show for the community (and other communities) I feel it would be best to simply have guest co-hosts each show. All that is required for you to be a guest co-host on the show is to have a fairly good mic, a copy of skype, and a willingness to discuss the topics on hand and help mold the show you are scheduled to be on. Of course, being available to record at the same time as myself is also key. I'm in the Eastern timezone (UTC -5, I think that's right) and generally am available to record anytime between 3PM and 10PM. Also, it should be understood that you do need to be fluent in spoken English, as I am open to co-hosts from other communities outside the the US. Anyone is welcome to join, not just known and popular editors.
I also plan to continue doing special interviews and the like as well. And because I can now record skype convos I can start doing live interviews (if you hadn't figured it out, the interviews in the last show were not done live.)
So, anyway, I'm looking for a co-host for the next show which I would like to record sometime in the next few days. So if you are available and want to join in on this first venture then send me a PM and let me know when you think you would be available in the next few days. Also, if you would like to be on future shows, or have a topic you would like to discuss on air or think you should be the next person I interview then drop me a PM as well.

Re: This Week In AMVs - In need of co-host
Thanks for the advertising
Advice: stop saying "uhm" so much (a lot easier said then done
). (sooo...) even better, edit them out
when you're recording, if you say "uhm", stop for a a few seconds then say what you were saying over again without the "uhm". Then, go over the recording and remove the bad lines. In the process, you'll have "uhm"less podcasts and eventually get better at not saying it
goodluck!
