A list of acceptable metalcore bands:
-Buried Inside
-A Life Once Lost
-After the Burial
-Into the Moat
-Darkest Hour
-The Ghost Inside
-Between the Buried and Me
IMO deathcore would've been the better choice tho, it's the new-age genre that's being hated on that actually has some awesomely brutal representatives in it. But I'd still advice to pick out the mix with songs from the bands mentioned above if you're going to be all metalcore.
