Well, just don't participate in some shady contests. For example, I know for sure you can trust Vlad if he says he will send you the trophies (I got them from him being as far as in Ukraine, and now I will participate in Anime Evolution every year even if he stops sending out trophies).
And one more thing: are you sure they didn't send anything? Maybe they did, but it didn't reach you for some reasons.
