there is a difference between a police officer and a cop. cop is actually an acronym for constable on patrol. so a homicide investigaor for instance, wouldn't be a cop.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

cop stands for police officer, a homicide investigator is not a police officer.
cop can stand for ANY police officer, these are the people every city has, the local pd. Homicide investigaters don't work at local pds, they work in bureous and offices. Cops bust partys with udner age drinking, give speeding tickets, watch over schools, investigate small local robberys, make arrests for things like drug posetion, all that type of crap. A homicide investigator is something COMPLETLY diffrent, they ARE NOT a police officer, so what you said was totaly worthless and stupid.
