Waldo wrote:Saturday evening when packing up the Iron Editor equipment my DS went missing. It was up at the judges table most of the evening being used for the Pictochat session. I'm hoping someone saw it lying around and picked it up but didn't know who it belonged to. It's a white DS lite and it had a copy of "Advance Wars: Dual Strike" in the slot. If you open up Pictochat the default username will be Waldo. If you ran across it, please send me a PM. I know the chances are slim, but it's worth a shot.
hopefully you will get it back, unfortunately there are alot of assholes out there.

Well, since Omar has already posted- but yet managed to not say anything at all about the event itself, I'll go ahead and announce the results. After a very hard-fought battle that had the judges deliberating for a good while due to two excellent and diverse videos by both Meri and Liz, Liz was crowned- or rather, gartered (sorry, I don't have any pictures of that... though doubtless others do and will post them...) the new Iron Editor for Anime Weekend Atlanta.

Congratulations are in order for both competitors for making two excellent videos that I'm looking forward to being able to show IE attendees around the country. As is tradition, it will be left to the competitors themselves to announce and post their own videos- Omar (or Vic) will be in touch with them to get them the final copies of their vids to do their own encodes/bumpers/etc. on before posting.

Thanks again to both competitors for their efforts and to everyone who attended! We hope to see you all again next year and at AUSA, ACen, and Otakon at the other IE events!
