Seriously, man.

I think you mis-interpreted my statement there. What I meant was that it's unfair to solely pick on the anime choice in and of itself, or the music choice in and of itself.

I personally think the only legitimate grounds for attacking the anime and music are if you attack them in relation to each other. That is, if the anime and music have just about nothing to do with each other in any possible universe or twisted state of mind (hence, my LP/Stellvia example).

Well, I didn't attack it because it was solely inu yasha. I attacked it because it was the SAME Inu Yasha thing everyone else had done. Stupid, stupid romance that isn't funny.

Holy cow. I have a lot of stuff to reply to, but I'll just throw a quick note in here till I can get back to it:

For new users, I'm talking maybe the FIRST video, or very young new users I tend to give them a free pass on music song choices. Typically when people first start they are not all that sophisticated so they will go with a 'logical' song anime choice. As many of them as there are, you still have to admit that if you had never ever seen one, a well done DBZ fight video to Linkin Park, or Papa roach would work. It is only when you realize that there are almost six thousand of them that you get the scope of it. For the people who have by and large been giving replies here, most of us have downloaded and watched a LOT of videos, and new videos, this gives us a slightly different perspective I think.

Yes you did. Besides, Originality doesn't bring down the whole of the vid. It was a good vid.

I have it on my HD for permanent viewage. ^^

I don't think I can add to this any more than what has been said to this point.

Thanks everybody for your excellent feedback (feedback on feedback..heh.) and thoughts on the issue. There have been so many ideas in this thread, that seem directly pertinent to the whole concept of how feedback should be tailored that it takes a bit of digesting to get through.

I suppose the only pertinent way to say thank you would be to offer to opinionate for anyone who responded. Just pm me if you want it, or throw a vid into my super ops thread in that forum.
