If you upload a "Remastered Edition," then the original edition should be deleted from the GD sever. That's hardly unreasonable

Depends on your definition of "Remastered". If your definition is like mine(And I'm assuming everyone but Phade's), then the remastered edition has a few new scenes, a little better timing, and overall better quality on a really old video. I remastered one of my videos, but before I put it on the donut, I wanted my older version taken off. I emailed Phade about. No answer. Okay, after a few weeks, I just went ahead and made a new slot for the video and uploaded it. A month later, I got worried. Emailed Phade again. No answer. So what I'm assuming is, that he wants that old video there, and no amount of emailing from me asking to delete the old version is going to take it off.

But if it's "remastered" in the sense that Phade sees it-- Same exact thing but better quality-- Then I think everyone here should aggree with you that the older version should be removed...

As far as using fansubs, I can see your point on how works such as Euphoria can actually make fansub footage look good, especially when the R1 isn't out yet.

Euphoria didn't use fansubs. It used HK bootlegs. =\
