When the invalid item comes up like it is now ebay has made it's ruling.That it was NOT right to sell without permission from the song maker , the Movie comp. , or the fan that put it all together as a tribute for all to enjoy.so yes a small victory but all you have to do is relist with different wording and the high bidder can still purchase the item if he likes just no feedback may be given on the transaction.well I could go on for hours about this but...........you should be bored by now so WAKE UP!!!

I say we all keep his Ebay ID handy and, once in a while, check to see if he's doing it again. We report him and he gets cancelled again. If it happens enough time he'll be booted from Ebay for good!

He is full of shit ebay does not apoligize for shit I know I have a hell of a lot more feedback than 8 (over 200)hes an ass CLOWN the only way to srew an idiot is everytime someone bid on an auction that is amv's email the bidders with a link to here and alway put in the title CONGRADULATIONS!!!! YOU JUST BID ON PIRATED SOFTWARE but it will take effort and time and find his so called supplier and do the same.Most people on ebay think there buying legit stuff tell them it's pirated and they most likley retract there bid.

Wonders on the logic which is similar to saying:

Hmmmm...it doesn't really work.

But EBay is mostly an unpoliced wasteland, so yeah, its up to the AMV creators to work at safeguarding the non-profit aspect of their fan products.

I'd suggest contacting Viz about the guy so that you can a "company" with legal right to the Inu Yasha to file a complaint. It will certainly carry far more weight. Yet who knows in what direction that would go. After all...we have a few people who have been selling AMV DVDs of "their work" here for profit too...

You bring up some very good points, EC. Personally, I think ALL AMVs should not be sold for profits. If I were to create a great AMV, I wouldn't sell it. The only "rewards" I'd need are awards from conventions.

It's like winning in the Olympics. Would you rather get a gold medal or a cash prize? I'd want the gold medal because that is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Money is not.
