Also i didnt write it for mainstream org. I wrote it for faggots on youtube who think they know how to edit better than anyone else and new editors who dont understand anything about the community they just joined. It was meant to be negative because imho the mainstream youtube editing community has gotten out of hand. Thats why i didnt really write much on org. Personally though, i think there are a lot of immature people on here...coughwho might edit a rant without asking firstcough

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

OtakuGray's Journa from 2010-07-25 l wrote: A Rant on the Anime Music Video and Anime Communities 2010-07-25 12:45:29 This is a very long and detailed rant on the problems and issues that go on with our community. If you would please read this long rant, i would be very appreciative. The opinions in this rant are not made to offend and are not targeted at anyone unless they are named.

Also, you will need Microsoft Word or Open Office to read this.

Again, please read and comment on what your thoughts are. I would be very greatful :)
Did you not realize that the journal system was public? If you didn't want this to be aired public-ally to the org or didn't want people to discuss it then why did you post it and ask for comments?

Welp.
Your own god damn essay wrote: The whole community must change, somehow, with efforts from many. I think that, if one person reads this, then perhaps I have helped that change happen a little bit faster.
You explicitly said that the purpose of your writing was for people to read it, and in turn, care. See, this is what I mean by understanding what you say before you, you know, actually say it.
OtakuGray wrote:Also i didnt write it for mainstream org.
Which is why you released it on your Org journal, where most of the users heavily overlap with forum users, aka "the mainstream org", right?

Personally though, i think there are a lot of immature people on here...coughwho might edit a rant without asking firstcough
Honestly, you should be pretty damn happy that I took the time to read your rant, much less went through and made it coherent. If you read my comments (go ahead and and double check, I'm not paying attention to timestamps), I spent most of my time critiquing the structure and organization of your arguments, and I actually left your ideas as intact as I possibly could.

Here's a tip, though (here's some of that constructive criticism we all know that the Org is so badly in need of): If you're going to write something for the purpose of being read (and you did because not only did you release it on a public website, but you say so in the conclusion of your essay), make it readable. It also helps a lot if you publish it somewhere where its target audience will actually find it.

Publicly is a word, duder.

QFT.

And I don't know. All this thread is going to be in the end is utter douchebaggery against OtakuGray, as already exhibited and proven by a few people here.

Next we'll be debating whether it's better to write "gray" or "grey"...
