So I just typed 80's anime ova into Google and with this new insight I guess Wanna-Be's it was the first result.
Lets see if Google is better at this game then any of us

Ahh just realized if I waited 5 minutes it would have been 2 days and I could have started with a new screenshot, but where is the fun in giving up!

Yeah, sorry, I should have given more hints in due time. Anyway, no, it's not Wanna-Be, but a couple hints to make up for yesterday:
1) It's from the 90s.
2) It's an alternative version of a TV series from the 70s.

I am planning to just guess every single Gundam OVA from the 90's if you just say no to this, so if it is not any of the Gundam things would you mind saying that.
