Actually I decided to hold onto it and watch it in its full hd bluray release glory. First BD comes out on the 25th.

But still I'd say Trapeze is more worthy of the show of the season title.

Well, it was ultimately what I anticipated, but a brilliant way of doing things nonetheless. The ending far exceeded my expectations, and did not leave me disappointed.

Well, I was a bit behind and finally managed to catch up and marathon this. And what a ride it was. I think the choice they did with the ending is quite perfects since, well... it satisfies everyone. Basically...

If you want, you can pretend ep 12 doesn't exist and just watch this as a BAD END show. If you want the good end, watch ep 12, and it still won't be disappointing. I think that they did it this way so that they could satisfy those that wanted a school days end, but the way the eye works allows for both paths to be taken. Best decision imho. Just half assing the premonition and giving the good end immediately wouldn't have felt the same - doing it this way had a sort of META feeling to it, since it ends up being a lot more immersive, sort of makes you feel on your own skin what having a premonition is.

Oh well, in any case, it was a very good show, I'm surprised how it ended up being underrated, a shame imho. Definitely one of the few anime that didn't half ass the visual novel adaptation. I actually honestly doubt it could have been much better, so I'll agree with the 9/10 rating of Ishbalan.

I saw this over the weekend. The first half started really good, but the second half kinda went downhill...

Hahahah oh wow. Bumping 'cause last Blu-ray had an extra ep 13 OVA. And, well... contents aren't something I'm sure I can show here. But here's a quick rundown by Seiha under spoiler:

The nightcap to the series is a bonus DVD episode featuring the cast sucked into the red pink world once more, where everything’s… not quite right. Kakeru’s eye now sees through clothes, Yukiko’s Hunter-Killer mode is now Hunter-Lesbian mode (like she wasn’t bisexual enough already), and Misuzu now summons dildos. While most of it was rather fun, Takehisa and Kukuri had the best moments by far. Takehisa using his new water power to pretend like he was peeing was easily the weakest of his jokes, and Kukuri’s X-rated drawings (TOO HOT FOR TV) occasionally boggled the mind. Her animal sound censored explanation of the dildo was also quite amusing.

I did think that the second half faltered a bit. They could have done a lot more with the Black Knights Pervert Five, and Lisette’s part was pretty short and lame. The last bosses of the Pink World should have been those two idiot side characters that are always hanging around Shiori (I have no idea what their names are anymore), but I can’t really fault the show for pretending like they didn’t exist. Yukiko’s Hunter-Lesbian mode should have also had far longer… and/or there should have been a continuation of Yuka’s Crazypants’ bisexual awakening. In any case, it was an amusing tagline to the series and easily far more entertaining than… well… the previous 12 episodes.
