then ICQ is lagging behind. It been tested and right now with AIM you can talk with ICQ. You may need AIM 5.x but I know for a fact that you can. Another forum I am on has tested it and it goes both ways. And ICQ has become crappy since it first came out. It is now to AIM like so I just stick with my AIM. And lastly AOL sucks ass so far they have runned WINAMP, ICQ, there own programs and shit along what ever the hell else they have toach.

ICQ always sucked. Let's add three hundred options to the right click menu and 40 buttons scattered all around the program, all of which do nothing you want. On top of that we'll use a really shitty way of identifying you called UIN. Oh and our website will be a bitch to navigate as well.

Once ICQ dies, that will be a happy day. Next should be YahooIM, then AIM. I am sorry, but MSN makes a better, nicer looking client.

Uh, as far as I know, ICQ and AIM do NOT have chat capabilities between them. I'm running the latest version of AIM and my friend the latest version of ICQ. something like that would have been a huge announcement.

yes, I have the latest version of both myself on one machine.

Timlessblurr, you have NO IDEA what you're tlaking about. you're just making biased opinions which you made up. Besides, if AIM is such a bad program and you don't like ICQ because it's too muhc like AIM, why settle for AIM itself? You make absolultey no sense and have absolutley zero knowledge of ICQ the program.

I know about the ICQ program. I use AIM because all my friends uses so I need that program to talk with them on. Also I have a nice add-on to AIM that makes it a lot better. That add on gives me everything ICQ hases but in a much more user friendly manner. (the history logger is was the only reason I like to uses ICQ but now that I have one for AIM I can log it) And that does make since AOL is trying to converet ICQ to become AIM like and that was when I got tired of it. I happen to have the most update copy of ICQ on my computer I just never uses it due to the fact that I have other message programs that are better (MSN and AIM). I like MSN messager the best and I been looking for a add for it that will log the history 2. All and ALL I know a lot about the ICQ program and when I bored I message on it but none of my friends uses it so I have no reason to log on to it all the time

that was so hipocritical in comparison to your last post on the matter it's not even funny.

Anyways, even with add ons AIM isn't anyhting like ICQ. I like it mainly for the security and privacy.
